We strictly control the use of hazardous substances in raw materials and provide warranty and repair services after products are sold, aiming to reduce negative environmental impacts from the very source.

In terms of environmental management, we follow the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Policy established by our parent company, GIGABYTE Group, to achieve the Group’s unified objectives: Implement cleaning production, pollution prevention and keep improving on all environmental activities. Fulfill the obligations and responsibilitiy for environment protection and improve the health and safety of employees. Encourage the suppliers to implement environment protection, health and safety programs. Control the risk of safety and health in the workplace to prevent occupational injuries and illnesses. Monitor, control and reduce the greenhouse gases, and save the energy and resources continuously. Consider the life cycle of products; improve the recyclability and reusability of material continuously, to achieve no banned environment harmful substances in our products. Declare the responsibilities for environment, health and safety to all employees, and ensure their awareness.

 

Control of Hazardous Substances

Giga Computing takes into account the potential negative environmental impacts of its products and has established the Harmful Chemical Substances Requirement (HCSR) to regulate and categorize the control of hazardous substances. The company also closely monitors the development trends of international environmental regulations and customer requirements, conducting regular assessments and updates of the standard to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

 

Classification of Hazardous Substances

In addition to adhering strictly to hazardous substance control during product design and material selection, we also manage hazardous substances in components through our self-developed Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM) system. This enhances the environmental friendliness of our products, ensures the health and safety of customers during product use and reduces health risks to waste disposal personnel at the end of the product's lifecycle.
